Recently I witnessed an act of kindness so genuine that it made me stop and think about my own life. About a week ago, I was on a school field trip to the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. On the bus, a student had lost his wallet containing $20. I then saw the teacher give the boy $20 of her own hard earned money. Mrs. Vogelei was that teacher. What an uplifting and divine gesture from a teacher to a student. That's what sets this district apart from others.
