RE: The Villas comment on long term rentals being down in Cape May County and Airbnb's thriving in that market. My wife and I own several single home properties in the area and after many years of having to deal with long term renters, we finally made a decision to go the Airbnb route. Our homes are well maintained and some of the best-looking properties in the area as well. Our Airbnb renters take care of the properties, and many are return guests. On the other hand, the long-term renters were nightmares. The "I don't care mentality" of long-term renters is why there is a shortage here.
