The power of the microphone and the lapse of time will make the township taxpayer forget that there has never been an open discussion on the appointment of the manager. Would it be too much for the taxpayers to question from council their reasons for maintaining the current manager? Each and everyone of our elected officials should be obligated to take a position on the most important employee in the township. The saying that business is business without politics would be refreshing for all those who pay their hard earned taxes to operate our government. Nothing less should be accepted.
