The Open Spaces program needs to step it up when it comes to open space preservation. When was the last time it preserved any land? There is still plenty of land that needs to be preserved. No dry piece of land is safe from someone trying to build on it. The Open Spaces program should recontact applicants that wanted to preserve their land but were rejected and reach out to everyone that owns pieces of land.
