Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to the owners and staff at the Herald ! Although it may not seem like it sometimes, I think I can speak for most residents when I say that the Herald is one of the under appreciated gems of this area. One of the few that recognize that the answer to those who would oppress free speech is more free speech and the preservation of first amendment rights under our constitution. Not a gift that can be placed under a tree, or in a Christmas stocking but perhaps the greatest gift of all, the gift of freedom of speech. Pray for those that died to preserve it. Hero’s
