Lower Township has 3 Wards. Ward 3 makes up 31% of the town's population. Diamond Beach section is voting district 6 in Ward 3 and makes up over 20% of Ward 3 and 6.3% of Lower Township population yet Diamond Beach residents pay over 30% of all the town's taxes. For years a serious complaint from DB residents and the DB citizens action group has been the lack of response from current Ward 3 councilperson, Roland Roy, Jr. to emails and phone calls. Time for a change.
