John Adams, in referring to future occupants of the White House, said “May none but honest and wise men ever rule under this roof.” Sadly, this is not the case with the current occupant. Abraham Lincoln, when referring to the need to bring the country together after the Civil War, said “with malice towards none, with charity towards all”. Sadly again, this does not refer to the current administration who is motivated by retribution and hatred.
