Instead of Councilman Simonsen speaking with Freeholder Thornton about sharing our airport public safety building, I would prefer our council speak with Middle Township council and chief of police about consolidating the two township police departments, as was discussed several years ago. Upper Township and Dennis Township do not have their own police department and they are fine. The airport building is at the upper most point of Lower Township and the most southern portion near Middle Township.
