I just read your article about the County taking back the airport. Although I agree there should be a repayment of capital improvements to some degree, I disagree that 32M is realistic. First, they improved the facility with the idea of investment-making money. Second, their choices may not have been in the interest of the locals whose tax dollars also had an investment. The DRBA became self serving as an autonomous authority. I am not a big fan of the county either. They are tearing down historic buildings, replacing with rentals. This aside, I believe the County should have control.
