As an ex-employee of Lower Township schools, I would like to know where they are finding the money to offer contracts for custodians while trying to pass a bond referendum. This department has managed to get by using subs and part-time help to save the district money. This seems like a bad time. As a taxpayer, I say this is not needed as they have always gotten by. My only guess is it could be more nepotism, as in the past. I ask the board to reconsider this before spending unneeded money which could go to education.
