Dissolving the district and saving a wide range of costs makes more sense than supporting two school districts, both with declining enrollment. We can no longer afford the exuberant costs of running two districts. Reducing administrative costs is a start, much like what the acquisition of the LTMUA will accomplish. The district's schools could easily be absorbed into the existing Lower Township School District. If the LTMUA acquisition will save us $1 million, think of what the consolidation of the regional district into the existing district will save.
