Could someone explain why taxpayers are expected to pay to protect the ocean lined homes in Cape May County? If they want to live on those beautiful properties, with expensive prices, they can surely pay for their own beach replenishment, jetties and rocks. This flood insurance that we pay for on properties we do not own has got to stop. Buy and build at your own risk.
