A Cape May spouter is wrong about tourism. All it has brought us is high unemployment, low wages, and drug problems. We don't need beach replenishment for tourism since all we need is a clam shell parking lot for beach goers. Tourists can go to the beach and leave. Why must they have places to spend money? The beach will be there without beach replenishment. This county would still exist without tourism. There would be less people but the peninsula would still be here. And less people is good! Stop worshiping tourism.
