All the communities that comprise Lower Township in the spouts have the same recurring topics and concerns of property conditions and building-code-related issues. These are not isolated to Villas. I think the township should report and publish the statistics and performance of the department similar to the crime and police blotter information that the Herald publishes. Maybe the concerns about the performance of the department is just a perception issue and not valid. Open disclosure and transparency is a vehicle to gain public support and help in cleaning up the problem areas.
