Looks like the Qatar “gift” of a plane for a new Air Force One will cost us $934 million. Recently there was a transfer of that amount from an Air Force missile program to an unnamed classified project which Air Force officials leaked was for upgrading the plane for use as Air Force One. Boeing continues to work on the contracted new Air Force One plane for delivery next year. Wonder why we’ll need 2 Air Force One planes? Waste, fraud, abuse seems to have been thrown out the window.
