Just walked the Cape May Point State Park trail. The sight of that new hideous housing development bordering the park on Seagrove Ave was disgusting. The land it was built on should be part of the park. The park’s beauty and value to wildlife is forever diminished. The park can no longer band hawks now since development destroyed the woods near the field where they did it. Allowing municipalities to make land use decisions was obviously a big mistake. People will destroy anything for money. The State needs to use eminent domain to save land that needs to be preserved.
