Just read a brilliant article on how raising the minimum wage to $25 an hour would somehow someway something unicorns and rainbows, billionaires are evil and will pay for their transgressions with a new minimum wage. Great concept except that all it will do is help squeeze the small businesses further out & drive consumers into the waiting arms of the megacorps & they will then gladly pass the costs along to the consumers. They'll also get to write off the costs of the AI/robo-kiosk that they use to replace the workers.
