It’s very sad to see Wildwood Crest join other towns in designing parks with signs telling you all about species of special concern while simultaneously driving them out. They forget nature is what draws visitors to this area not benches and grass. Avalon tops that list with residents having to fight to keep them from “improving” Armacost park. Avalon also has a lovely dune walk. Signs tell you all about birds you won’t see anymore. They were driven out by endless sand back passing projects that never work and instead destroy food sources and habitats.
