It’s very clear that socialists in New York City are willing to bet on a horse that will kick them in the face. They should know it’s unpleasant and avoid it altogether but like moths to a flame they’re drawn to it. Maybe a political kick in the face is what they need and we’ll have a ringside seat to what happens next. The flaw in their plan is all the rich people they want to tax cut their losses and leave for a red state, leaving behind people that require a lot of services but can’t pay for them. Close the bridges. Plug the tunnels. Do we really want that to come here?
