It’s crazy how people stake out their beach spot by setting up tents and rings of beach chairs at 8:00 am on 83rd Street in Stone Harbor. They set up their encampment then go back to wherever they live till later in the day. It looks like a camp ground hogging all the beach as soon as you come down the wheelchair accessible path. None of the people have mobility issues, they just like to take over the beach.
