.It's clear that allowing land use decisions to be made by municipalities and counties was a mistake. Local planning and zoning boards have failed at stopping overdevelopment. Anyone that has lived in CMC a long time knows how it once was beautiful .Development relentlessly consumed more woods, farms, and fields. Every year we lose more. That won't change unless the State steps in and does what local government should have, ban all new residential homes, condos, town homes. CMC is already overdeveloped but we still have time to save remaining land from being lost to development!
