It was good this morning to see that so many members of Congress (Republicans AND Democrats) quickly condemned Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy’s campaign ad against his opponent, Amy Acton, featuring her mother. The ad is especially egregious given the fact that Ms. Acton was a victim of child abuse from another family member (if you haven’t seen the ad, please google it, as well as the back story). Perhaps maybe, just maybe, there’s hope yet that our Senators and Representatives can get together on other issues as well, not just the ones as inflammatory or disturbing as this.
