It seems there is a growing perception in Sea Isle that working for the Mayor’s business can become a pathway to a full-time city or county position, even when applicants from the community may have the qualifications and experience for those jobs. If these concerns are accurate, the public deserves to know how the position was advertised, how applicants were evaluated, and whether the same hiring standards were applied to everyone. This isn’t about who someone’s parents are or where someone liives.
