It is said that the truth shall set you free. If that’s true and you know it is, why do so many lock themselves up in obvious lies that are proven and indisputable lies and hold on to them to the bitter end, when the consequences of those lies are even worse. Everybody has the right to remain silent, perhaps more thought should be given to exercising that right than to spontaneously lying. When you check your bank balance, do you expect the answer you get to be the truth? Suppose we just started making numbers up and nobody told the truth about anything?
