Is there anyone that went to or watched the county AFSCME meeting last week? I haven't heard anything. Did they discuss the details of the contract offer made by the county and what their problem with it is? I don't understand why the e-board keeps it quiet. If you let it out, then the membership can assist and put pressure on the county by talking about it and letting their feelings be known. The county obviously is freely discussing their side. Really, what is the point of being hush hush about it and letting rumors rule the day? Put it out there. Let members be heard by county admin.
