In one of his latest monologues Bill Maher took a jab,pun intended, at Sen Rand Paul on wanting Dr Fauci's diaries. Maher said, "You printing someone’s diary is like AOC wearing a gown that says tax the poor,” which even I admit is mild,even funny compared to Maher's usual attacks on Republicans. Then I remembered Sen. Paul's main issue besides privacy is open government. Fauci was a government employee who was documenting government functions, there's no expectation of privacy. On the contrary Sen Paul is a champion of open government./ Maher missed the point completely!
