I”m thrilled to hear NJ is finally joining the states now teaching cursive in Elementary school. It had long been known that cursive helps boost brain activity. “Cursive writing boosts brain activity by enhancing neural connectivity, stimulating memory, and increasing learning efficiency, unlike typing. Studies show it activates multiple brain areas simultaneously, including those responsible for motor skills, vision, and language. The continuous motion improves cognitive development and functional specialization in children."
