I'm the old woman placing NUTS on trees for the hungry squirrels and Cheerios for the rabbits. They are GOD's children and part of our humanity as civilized human beings. I'm also the one that picks up dead rabbits from the streets of Cape May City and buries them with a small Christian Eulogy. So far this summer I buried 8 decaying little bodies, some fresh kill and some marinating in the sun. I'm shocked at how many drivers speed to hurry and catch the RED traffic light. CMPD give tickets in the city for speeding!! We seniors can't run or hop as fast as bunnies to avoid speeding cars!!
