In New Jersey, you must be at least 18 years old to own, possess, or purchase a rifle or shotgun, and at least 21 years old to own, possess, or purchase a handgun or handgun ammunition. PERIOD! You CAN'T go to a gun show, walk in and walk out with a gun, NOT HAPPENING! There are plain clothes ATF and State police in shows looking for that activity. Illegal guns are stolen 98% of the time, FACT!
