If the US takes Greenland by military force it will end the current world order. Greenland is tied to Denmark. Denmark is a NATO member. A US military move would mean one NATO country using force against another NATO country’s territory. That alone breaks NATO. Once that happens, treaties stop mattering. Article 5 becomes meaningless.
