IF the State DEP comes into Diamond Beach with their dune plan, the privately owned beaches will be returned to the township for maintenance, monitoring, and restricted access to the dune area, except for access to installing wind fences, and no trespassing signs. The beaches will become "FREE" to public access and attract thousands of day trippers, all arriving by car. Maybe residents should reconsider their position on parking meters, or show up in Trenton in mass and raise cane to see how far they will get with the State!
