If Middle can use eminent domain to take land just to give it a developer, then the State can use eminent domain to take land in order to preserve it. Middle Township is never going to doing anything to stop overdevelopment and residents don’t even have a choice because the mayor and committee run unopposed. So they don’t have to listen to the residents that are sick of development destroying the township. They only listen to Ryan Homes. The State is our only hope of saving land from development. The State just needs to use eminent domain to acquire land do it can be preserved.
