I wasn't alive during the Bicentennial. Although from all I have read it was universally celebrated despite people's dislike for Jimmy Carter's policies.If Joe Biden, or another Democrat was in the White House, Republicans would celebrate the 250th with him or her. Unfortunately most Democrats don't have the same courage to do this because they hate President Trump more than they love this country. PA Governor Josh Shapiro was thew only Democratic Governor to send a delegation. He saw a chance to showcase his state. Other governors should have followed his lead
