I very much enjoyed Ms. Boyd's Herald article on CMC's Soon-to-be-Patriots and look forward to further installments. Older locals may remember their elementary school teacher reading them stories by Stephen W. Meader, the Town Bank resident who wrote a prolific # of children's books. Three set locally- A Blow for Liberty (Revolutionary War), The Fish Hawk's Nest (1820s) and The Cape May Packet (War of 1812) are all available at the county library. I recommend them for kids and adults alike.
