I thank Jefferson Van Drew for his years of service to South Jersey and his attention to local concerns. But gratitude does not require my vote. I will not support him because his political identity has become defined by unwavering loyalty to Donald Trump. South Jersey needs strong representation—but strength is not chest-thumping MAGA rhetoric or partisan performance. It is independence, judgment, and the willingness to put constituents and country before a political movement. Van Drew has lost that balance, and I will vote for someone who answers first to South Jersey.
