I suspect that our elected officials in Middle Township are intentionally sacrificing Rio Grande and encouraging the town go downhill. The proximity of a less desirable area close to all the outrageously priced shore points ensures housing that is still somewhat attainable for those who keep the county and tourism running: retail and hospitality workers. Sorry to those of us homeowners who built a life and started families in a once respectable town that is now blighted. What I once chalked up to incompetance, I now realize is deliberate.
