I pay 7500 a year for medigap or supplemental insurance for Medicare for my husband and myself. That is to cover the 20% that Medicare does not pay for. That is up 2300 a year from 2024. plus over 4000 a year we pay for Medicare. 1 Payer Medicare for all would increase benefits, reduce nationwide cost of health coverage, and be a huge help to businesses. Obama care was to be a bridge until the inevitable Medicare for all became possible. What the GOP plan is going to do will bankrupt the hc system, just the elimination of mandatory coverage for pre-existing conditions is a deal breaker
