I needed a new hot water heater and I got two quotes and I noticed that one was charging me for a City Permit and one wasn’t. When I questioned the plumber that wasn’t charging for a permit I questioned why he wasn’t. His reply was “the city doesn’t enforce it so why get it” If the city isn’t enforcing these permits what are they doing. If it’s the law the enforce it.
