Cape May

I miss the good old days when elections made sense. Back when the number of votes cast were pretty consistent every election cycle within about a 10% variation. Not like in 2020 when 12 million votes for a single candidate miraculously showed at around 3:00 AM. Or, not like a recent Governor's election when 500,000 never seen before votes materialized for one of the candidates. Can anyone explain these mysteries to me?
