I live o 10 acres of woods , if a storm comes and blows all of my trees down should the federal government clear and restore them? … why should the federal government spend millions of dollars to fix the beaches ? You’re living on an island, sand comes and goes, why should my tax dollars be spent so that your million dollar home doesn’t lose its value ? If you live on an island your town should be responsible to fix its beaches , and if necessary raise your taxes to cover the cost.
