I know the law says cars must stop for pedestrians in a marked crosswalk. That does not mean folks can just step into traffic without even looking. This is a bad law that seems like most people don't understand. For decades we were all taught to stop, look both ways than cross when safe. I guess safety and good sense has gone away?
