I just read the new article in the herald online about beach replenishment along the jersey coast. I call it the great sand scam sponsored by the Army corp of engineers. Engineers solve problem, the sand scam is not a fix it’s a bandaid. All the replenished sand north will end up in wildwood and wildwood crest. If a town needs beach replenishment they must be required to build jetties at their expense to keep the sand in place. I was hoping Trump would have said enough is enough. Perhaps the Crest could turn the extended fishing pier into barrier to keep our beach from growing?
