I just read an article in the Herald concerning school absenteeism in our NJ public schools. School climate and mental health are stated as part of the problem. This is nuts. How about we go back to the good old days , your kids aren’t in school they charge the parent. It’s not the school’s or the states responsibility to make sure students are in school. ITS THE PARENTS RESPONSIBILITY. Parents are responsible for their children. Period
