I don’t know if people really hate second home owners in Stone Harbor. I first bought in town in 1989 and back then it was always the so called “locals” that controlled the town. But some of the locals were retirees who had worked in different aspects of life. They were able to help run the town with sound business experience. Now we have local realtors and others with an agenda on the council and Mayor’s seat. We have retread south Jersey people in the administrator and finance positions. Until we fill these positions with unbiased professionals the town will never aspire to past greatness.
