I appreciate the Herald’s continued coverage of the utility bill crisis. The paper recently reported how the state has continually raided the coffers of its imposed surcharges to provide "relief." In this time of unaffordable gas and electric, the state should SUSPEND ALL OF ITS SURCHARGES, most of which fraudulently appear under the auspices of “delivery charges.” I urge you to read through the litany of nonsense we’re paying for on both the gas and electric bills-- a good many of which are state imposed— so the state can remove them.
