I always thought the Cape May County Fire Wire Facebook page was very informative but unfortunately it’s now become political. A post was shared regarding the terrible incident involving a police officer being hurt in the line of duty and the person who hit the officer was supposedly an illegal driving drunk. The post was more about the person being an illegal and ice rather than the real problem facing many in our county which is alcohol and drug abuse. That post goes to show how red people are down here. I wish the officer well.
