How do my military vet neighbors feel about the president calling himself a war hero? My husband and brother both did time in Viet Nam and thankfully came home in one piece. A few friends didn’t make it home. A few were MIA and POW’s. But of course they and so many had to fight because this guy wouldn’t. He couldn’t go because his feet hurt. But sure, he deserves your undying respect and loyalty.
