Hey man, running into a commercial building that is reportedly on fire with hundreds of elderly people that need to be evacuated is not setting up a command system for success. Not putting your turnout gear makes it that much worse. Please lead by example, this could have been a disaster, which would have put your actions under a microscope and under threat of legal action if you fail to follow your training and response protocols.
