Here's one for you. The American Legion in Stone Harbor which was formed by Avalon and Stone Harbor Veterans, is holding an appreciation luncheon off island. So, the communities on the island who gave hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations and community support, don't even have the celebration on island. On top of that, according to thier flyer to members, only includes veterans, which btw are predominately those that live miles and miles away from 7 mile island. What a slap in the face. My apologies to the WWI and WWII vets who formed the best legion in NJ.
