Hats off to Coach Slaney and the LCMR Baseball program for last Friday’s Salute to Service Night victory over WWC. It was a tremendous community event and a great night for everyone in attendance. While the atmosphere and purpose of the event were outstanding, the behavior displayed by some of the people involved at a high level was disappointing and unbecoming. It makes us even more proud to have a head coach who leads by example, represents the program with class, and never lowers his standards regardless of the circumstances or competition.
